Harvard and Princeton Take Ivy Round-Robin Titles

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — After hundreds of bouts over two days, it came down to one last point between brothers to decide the Ivy League Men’s Fencing Round-Robins title.

Harvard freshman Jerry Chang got the better of Penn sophomore and brother Jason Chang to break a 4-4 tie in the bout and a 13-13 tie in the match and lift Harvard to the 2013 Ivy League Round-Robins crown.

On the women’s side, Princeton won their fourth consecutive title with a dominant performance. Columbia finished second with a 5-1 mark, the Lions’ fifth-straight runner-up finish. Harvard finished third for the third straight season.
