This piece of fencing news has gone viral – Nashville fencing coach Franco Scaramuzza chased down some robbers with an epee after witnessing their assault on a couple in a shopping center parking lot.
The reporting says that Scaramuzza “brandished his sword, started screaming” and ran at the robbers. The villains panicked, dropped their loot, and ran away.
Police later apprehended the men – Michael Butt and Zachary Johnson, charging them with robbery.
