Combat in 15th Century Armor – and Jumping Jacks

Le combat en armure au XVe siècle

A common myth is that full plate armor was cumbersome and left the knight like a turtle if they happened to get knocked down. French network Figaro TV and The National Museum of the Middle Ages in Paris took video of men in properly fitted armor of the 15th century to demonstrate the real combat mobility. There are also demonstration of jumping jacks and shoulder rolls.
