US Fencers for Change Interview

Tracy Hurley is the candidate for USFA president and heading up "US Fencers For Change," a group of candidates that provide alternatives to the slate of candidates recommended by the nominating committee of the USFA.

In our audio interview, we spoke with Tracy Hurley about the US Fencers for Change and their platform.

The US Fencers for Change are hosting a Webinar on April 20th to provide an open forum for discussion of their platform and allow fencers to gain an understanding of their positions. The webinar will be from 7pm-8pm Eastern time and information can be accessed at the Webinar Page.

US Fencing Election Timeline

April 1, 2008 – Signatures on all petitions are validated and results are sent to the Election Committee.

May 1, 2008 – Ballots are mailed out to all USFA voting members (members who are at least 18 years of age on Feb 1, 2008).

June 15, 2008
– Approximate date for all ballots to be received by the USFA for counting (official date is 14 days before the annual meeting which will be held during the first week of the summer nationals in July)
