Daryl Homer is peaking at the right time. He went into Moscow as the 12th seed and ended up making the final 8.
Homer started today with two 15-14 victories over Aliaksei Likhacheuski (BLR) and Seppe Van Holsbeke (BEL). In the 16 he defeated Renzo Agresta (BRA) 15-12.
Moving on to the final 8, Homer faced off against Julien Pillet and lost 15-14.
Pillet went on to take silver, losing to Nikolay Kovalev (RUS) 15-8 in the finals.
The teams compete tomorrow in the final team event for Olympic qualification.
