US Men’s Epee Team attains #1 Ranking

The 2012 World Champion Men’s Epee team achieved the #1 overall world ranking with a 4th place finish in Buenos Aires this weekend.  The small team event featured a different line up for the US team as Seth Kelsey, Soren Thompson, Jimmy Moody, and Teddy Sherrill fenced.

The US defeated Argentina in the opening round then lost to Canada in the top-4 by a 45-36 score.  In the bronze medal match Switzerland won 45-31 and the US team placed 4th.

Hungary won the team event 45-21 over Canada.
