Schiller named fencing coach of the year

Northwestern’s women’s fencing coach Laurie Schiller has been named as the national coach of the year by the U.S. Fencing Coaches’ Association following the Wildcats’ sixth-place showing at the NCAA Championships in Waltham, Mass. It is the second such honor for Schiller in his 26 years at the helm of the Wildcats.
