Alex Massialas lost one preliminary bout but managed to dispatch 3 German fencers in direct elimination to win the Steinfurter Schloss Men’s Foil Junior World Cup event on Sunday. Massialas was joined on the podium by Brian Kaneshige, who took 3rd.
The silver medalist was Frederic Fark (GER) and the other 3rd place finish went to Germany’s Martin Bundshuh.
