Today I’m highlighting the video archives brought to YouTube by “schlager7” who has collected a lot of old newsreel footage of fencing and published them. Taking a look through, there are demonstrations of the 3 fencing weapons from 1933, a video of Nedo Nadi at the Fencers Club, and many more. This video is an introduction of the US and British women’s foil teams with a demonstration bout. Back then, women fenced in skirts.
