Holiday Gift Ideas for the Fencer
What to get for your fencing enthusiast?
We’ve pulled together a bunch of gift ready items that delight the fencer and are the things that fencers don’t often buy for themselves (since they are busy buying new blades or grips.)
I often find myself looking at the gift ideas and thinking - “Well, after I rewire that blade and switch out my bells, I’ll see about getting that calendar.” That’s why my wife buys the gifts for me - I’ll be much too practical about it!

Epee fencers can always use some Test Shims but also like the book Epee 2.0. If they do a lot of their own weapon work, then they’ll probably want a Test Weight to keep from losing screws.
Fencers who are training multiple days in the week and traveling to tournaments could also use something to pamper them, like The Stick - available in many different sizes depending on the fencers body type.
If you’re stumped, then you can always get them a Gift Certificate - just make sure they spend it on something fun!
