In mid 2019, we retired the Fencing.net forums, switching them over to an archive mode. In mid 2020, traffic to the forum’s archives has become so minimal that maintaining them publicly in the archived format no longer makes sense.
If you’re looking for an online community for the sport of fencing, we suggest Reddit’s /r/fencing subreddit – it is currently the most active online community for the sport.
For everyone new to the sport arriving on the forums from a Google search or similar, we definitely suggest you take a look at our Beginner’s Guide To Fencing section to get things started!
In an effort to try and ensure that all of that old, popular, useful content isn’t lost, we’re slowly transferring some of the most visited forum topics over to individual content posts.
