Hello everyone and welcome to the beginning of Fencing.net’s coverage of the 2020/2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo! Its been a long past 14+ months where fencing and the world at large was on a hiatus – and we were no exception. But we are now back in action with a new site design, a revamped Club Locator, and coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics Fencing events!
We will be physically present at the games and running live chats for each event, as well as a more global live blog style feature in coordination with the /r/Fencing subreddit community. Due to the nature of the situation on the ground in Tokyo, our access and availability might be somewhat limited, but we’ll be doing our best to provide as uniform coverage as possible as well as fulfill requests from the community.
Below is the schedule of events, links to the NBC/USA livestreams and links to our coverage of the events. Each page will get more detail added as we get closer to each event for those looking to plan or to watch live. For now, the individual event pages primarily include important dates and information for spectators, but greater coverage will come in as the Games begin. And of course, we’ll be reporting on the action as it happens through normal news updates.

Fencing.net Redesign and New Club Locator
Along with our Olympics coverage, we’ve launched a new site design! We always welcome feedback, so please let us know what you think.
We’ve also fully revamped our Fencing Club Locator utility. Its now based on a different codebase and all clubs have been fully reloaded with the most up to date data from USA Fencing as possible. However, with new data comes new potential issues, so if you’re a club owner and you see any errors, make sure to reach out to us to update your data.
