The competitor-turned-coach is headed to the Olympics — again — and hoping for a medal.
Marx was on every U.S. Olympic team between 1980 and 1996. He also coached fencers in ’92 and ’96. Next month, he will travel to Athens in search of his first medal as a fencer or coach, as his pupil, Cody Mattern, 23, competes in epee.
