I am an attorney now practicing disability law in CA and in the last 5 years have had 2 brain surgeries, 3 strokes and 4 seizures. I was lucky enough to have Scott Rogers as my coach before he moved, now coached by Tedd Padgitt. I also started a wheelie cause on Facebook where people can donate to Wheelchair Fencing in America and I am doing fundraising for the sport all over. (without much success.)

Where There’s a Wheel There’s a Way
The sport of Wheelchair Fencing is an official Paralympic sport and was contested at the Rome Paralympics in 1960. At it’s core, wheelchair fencing is a branch of the sport that has been modified to allow participation by individuals who have lost limbs, suffered traumatic brain injuries, have cerebral palsy, or any other medical condition that prevents them from fencing on their feet.
