Tim Morehouse provided an update on promotion of fencing to TV with his Fencing Masters project:
Fencing Masters will air April 8, 2013 at 7pm on Universal Sports and feature 2 head-to-head match-ups between US Olympians Nzhingha Prescod Vs. Nicole Ross and Daryl Homer Vs. Tim Morehouse. It is a 30-minute show including interviews with the athletes.
Universal Sports reaches approximately 40 million homes. This event was done as a fundraiser for Fencing in the Schools and helped to fund 1500+ kids who are starting to fence in Harlem!
Set your DVRs to Universal Sports this weekend to see the upgrades Tim and company have made to the display. If this does well then there may be more instances of Fencing Masters in the works.
