Celina Merza (USA) took the silver medal in the Women’s Sabre event. She fell in the gold medal bout to Russia’s Yana Egoryan. Anja Musch (GER) took the bronze.
The Men’s Epee event was won by Italy’s Marco Fichera who defeated Nikolaus Bodoczi (HUN) in the gold medal bout.
