Logan Lerman, known for his role as Percy Jackson in the movie adaptation of the Rick Riordan series, is working on his fencing for his role as D’Artagnan in an upcoming film.

In an interview with Australia’s TV Week magazine he stated that he is “deep in training” for his role as the expert swordsman who dreams of joining the fabled Musketeers.  He’ll be joining Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Orlando Bloom in the 3D remake of Alexandre Dumas’ The Three Musketeers.

He said: ‘I’m just working hard at fencing… a lot.’

“The thing about Percy was he always had to be shocked by how he had inherited all these skills and reflexes, which was easy because I could be stunned in each fight scene.

“But for The Three Musketeers, my character’s supposed to be the best and very cocky.

“I’m trying to get comfortable with it.”

Why is everything coming out in 3-D?
Some things really don’t need to be in 3-D.
I love the book though. It should be interesting to see how close to the story they follow.
