Craig has been fencing since he saw Peter Westbrook win a bronze medal at the 1984 Olympics. Craig has covered the sport of fencing since 1995 via articles and newsletters on Fencing.Net. He has most recently re-entered competitive fencing in the Vet40 age category.

‘Pirates’ fever sparks interest in fencing lessons
With the release of Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides this weekend, there’s sure to be an increased interest in pirates and swashbuckling during the summer. Fencing clubs should be able to jump all over this interest to boost attendence at summer camps and fill out new beginner classes.
